Aunthentic lunch at Cafe 9.
7:07 PM
Another long waited post that been pending like forever :o well, for everyone who are the biggest addict over thai food should really drop by here, before this is swamp by ton's of people! Cafe 9 is a authentic thai cuisine restaurant who serve very modern-ish plating on food but remain the originally taste of thai, but according to the owner he has been changing the taste until it actually fit the local acceptation due because not everybody can actually take the spice or the heaviness of the taste of the food.
The moment I step into Cafe 9 , the atmosphere was great and cozy, I thought was the rain of that day though but that didn't seems to make any different if its not rain, everything is great and I can't wait what is coming to me ( I mean the dish :D)
There served cold beverage like juice, soda's and coconut juice etc. And there is also cakes!
Here's Jon (the owner) & Stella while briefing about Cafe 9, some sort of a Q&A sessions for us bloggers too, Jon is very kind to us and do explain to us all the dish.
Here comes the Miriam go round!
missing her dearly, it's been forever since I lasted meet her, should really set a date to meet up!
and I met Pooi Yee and her family! cute and sweet family :)
glad to know them! what a nice family!
here's the bloggers Q&A session moment.

Thai Style Claypot Glass Noodle with Prawns – RM25.90
I still remember whenever I traveling at Thailand I have always crave for their glass noodle with prawns, not to say I am the biggest fans of seafood but prawn and glass noodle does goes along with my taste :)
Authentic Dark Herbal Soup Noodle (Beef) – RM15
Looking for a bigger bowl of boat noodle in this version? believe me you won't need to order bowls of boat noodle and start counting one by one :)
loving the clear broth although it seems very "herb-ish" but the the taste is very refreshing
and the beef is very well cooked in with the heat of the broth, other thai restaurant usually accidentally overcooked the beef itself, but I think Cafe 9 did it pretty well on this
Authentic Dark Herbal Soup Noodles (Chicken) – RM13
if you can't take beef, here you can try out their chicken with herbal soup noodle as well,
same goes to the boat noodle concept with the bigger bowl :)
while the fellow blogger familia are trying their best to capture the best presentation of the picture for their own blogs as well :) I have to say they are so much professional than I do.
Stir Fry mixed Vegetables – RM14.90
another dish that has so many flavor but it won't bored your tongue :)
loving on how they control the spice while frying the vegetable, you can still taste the vegetable but you can still taste a glimpse of the thai spice on it.
Fried Kuay Teow in Dark Sauce – RM13
- Kuaytiao Kua Gai
more like a ipoh hor fun delight but what about some fish sauce when you trying?
:)
Stir Fry Four Angle Beans – RM15.90
Stir Fry KangKung – RM10.90
Tub Tim Grob – RM6.90
Like our ABC binsu but this are with red ruby water chestnuts in coconut milk
somehow I just can't describe the differences between our local ABC with this
but not a bad thing to try out, especially the whether is so hot nowadays
Overall I had a great experience trying out cafe 9, well the owner Jon does let me know so much of the actual story and cooking about Thailand cuisine, to be frank I am always prefer having Korean or Japanese food but I think it's time for me to try hunting for more Thailand cuisine.
