So...just wanna share my experience of working as a staff/supplier at a retail mall loading bay.

This experience had got me into a madness understanding of how much hard work need to be giving out just to support the appearance for consumer.

So last few weeks, which is 1st of June, As I have products selling at this retail mall.

my colleague cum the supplier (call him F) supposed to help me sending off the paper cardboard standee that I had bugging my boss for months! Finally he finally approve to come out one for this retail mall since there are no more shelf space can place my products.

So back to this case, I woke up super early for an monthly meeting with my boss and F texted me and said he arrived the retail mall which is..early? I expected him to be there by 11am but he got there at 9am instead. I was happy that he was doing such a great job and he has no problem of accessing through the staff entrance and also the..loading bay.

When I finished my meeting and I drove there wanting to check it out how's the progression.

Found out F brought the wrong product standee and the wrong product for replenish.

I blamed it to all the miscommunication.

it was a disaster, F couldn't stay and or head back to office and bring the correct standee or even the products that I need to replenish.  My boss even ask me to settle myself since it is all my fault.

I was panicked, I called everyone I know who can help but apparently.

NOBODY CAN HELP.

So I basically helpless...the sales was going madness and there are so many customers. 

The staffs are all busy with their work.

At this very moment. I stood there and decided.

I AM GOING TO DO THIS MYSELF.

So I drive back to office and what I saw was, the standee wasn't ready, products for replenish are not in the box. So I open the standee box thing and start to build it up.

took me 30 minute to build a "simple" paper cardboard and secure it.

Then I started to put all the products together for replenish.

and stuff it all to my car.

Did I mention that when the first round I went to the retail mall. It was mad traffic jam going on and I have no freaking idea what happened.

SO there goes to the second around going to the retail mall.

SUPER JAM and I can never be this impatience.

After god buddha know how many hours had passed 

I finally arrive to the retail mall. But I can't park my car at the loading bay because there are TONS of  trucks dropping their supply to the loading bay!

what I do is, not sure whether this is a smart way.

I parked my car at the customer parking basement and went up and out to the loading bay,

and then I went to asked where can I get the supplier pass and do I need to fill up anything.

Believe me, everyone at the loading bay are holding their laughter.

I believe when I went into the elevator, they are laughing.

(I knew they did)

and also there are particular elevator to enter.

the middle one was meant for the rubbish.

and I went it. sigh...

and I never know that all the staff work under that retail mall are not allowed to use the customers elevator to go out for lunch :( so basically the elevator was packed with staffs because it is going to be a long wait for the elevator and they have to card out when it is lunch time.

so basically everything there are filthy gross and hot.

I went up and down and I have to say..  I hated it and I can't believe they have to do this everyday

after all the long way walk I finally reached the store room and I was expecting someone to help out on the price tag thingy but turn out...I need to do this by myself.

BY.MY.SELF.

uhuh you heard me, but the staff there are so kind to guide me on the code and everything so I understand which price tag I should be sticking on the products.

 something like this. I need to refill up by filling up another form and went all the way up to level 8.

FML.

I wanna die at the moment when I reached and the counter tell me to bring the empty roll only come back up.

Pretty much how I feel when the counter tell me this.

and the staff at the baby department tell me that I might need to wait up hours to get my price tag which is not true eh, because I got it done within 10 minutes :l

This is what I said to the staff who pass by to me and asked if I am okay.

I was packing and sticking the price tags.

Finally everything is done and I get to go home, my parking ticket was RM8 though.

I was running up and down for this mall for god knows how many hours and lucky everything is done. thank you Buddha.

So...this is my experience of a day at the loading bay for the very first time.
Hope that I do not need to go back there any more or else I will go nuts about it.
