The Peak at The Roof.

4:05 PM

I got invited by John (high school senior who simply spam/invited me to this event.plus we never talk)well, it doesn't matter because I know Vince would love to come and have a look at The Roof, he came for the view and I came to get something to write here :) so the event was fun, The peak was present by Startup Street, it was a forum session with prominent entrepreneurs in the Malaysian Startup scene at Signature by The Hill , The Roof.
they invited  Joon Chan - Regional Managing Director at Easy Taxi SEA, Christopher Tock - Social Director at SocialGrooves.com and Hugh Koh - Co-Founder at Pestle & Mortar Clothing to sit down and have a forum session, shared their thoughts and giving tips on starting a business, it was amazing and everybody had fun
I didn't take much pictures because me and Vince was busying catch up with some friends, I was amaze when Kram was there (Vince's primary classmate) he studied engineer and something related to science, he held hands with Obama few months back when Obama came to Malaysia, which kinda cool for me :) he introduced some people for us to meet and know. get a lot of tips of investing, building business, it was a great event, not just focusing on the forum session, you get to meet and know a lot of people from different industry there. they shared thoughts and how they build up their company and whats the next move, giving us youngster ( not like they are old but experienced) advice on what we should really focusing, although Vince came for just the view but he gets to meet quite a lot of his friends around, I mean it was a great event for us to learn, besides we get to know a lot of people from different industry, we shared thought we shared our opinion on what we should really consider if we really wants to have a company of our own,  or career, some times we got mixed up for what we want to be, but some times what reality does to us is it made us forgot what we really want to be, like me, the reason why I studied broadcasting is because I wanted to be a radio deejay (not those raving type, but those radio host who talks at the radio) I love to share what I see, I wanted to share everything around me, I do not have any specific type on what my blog has to show, I own a blog because I love writing, I love sharing, it's my passion in me, I do not take this as a job opportunity, it's just a platform for me to express myself, be myself, if I get to experience something, it is a must for me to post it and let my readers to know.

I worked for two company after I got graduate, they are hectic, they are not what I am looking for. and currently I am waiting for jobs as well, I applied few of them and waiting for a confirmation or a chance to do interview, but at least this time I know what I want to do, and also I am running a online business of my own, there were some patch during I was running this business, it taught me to be more careful on my investing, but I will never give up my dream. So yesterday me and Vince bumped into Andrew, who are our senior at the college, he became a very successful man and he changed, he taught me a lot of tips on my dream, he told me not to give up on what I studied, and that is why I chose broadcasting and studied for three years, so I sat there and think, why did I waste so much time working at the company and chose the wrong department to work.

And I get to speak to Daniel & Christopher ( from social groove), smart and wise men they are, I learned and inspired by all these business man and the forum session entrepreneurs. It was a great night :)
here's Stanley and Vince :) they became friend yesterday at the event, I'm surprised that now Vince learn how to break the ice and making friends now, should I be worried :\?
 hahaha
